The Carleton ATLAS Group

ATLAS Logo

The 27 km long Large Hadron Collider (LHC) located at CERN, near Geneva Switzerland will collide protons at an energy of 14 TeV - which will be the highest energy achieved in the lab. The Carleton group is working on the ATLAS experiment, one of four large detectors located around the LHC, which is designed to explore the physics which underlies the behaviour of the building blocks of the universe.

We are doing many exciting things related to the ATLAS experiment and are actively looking for new graduate students. If you would like to work with our group, please apply through the link to graduate studies on this page. If you require additional information on the ATLAS program, please feel free to contact any of our faculty members.
