Congratulations to Katy Hartling for successfully defending her PhD thesis, titled "Theoretical and experimental constraints on large electroweak scalar multiplets."  Katy's PhD work was done under the supervision of Prof. Heather Logan in the Carleton Theory group.

"I'm extremely proud of Katy for a really nice thesis that sums up a substantial body of work," said Logan.  "She is my first PhD student to defend, so this is a very special occasion for me."

Katy has accepted a position with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in their applied physics division.
