The session will consist of:
- a brief overview of Carleton's Physics Department, an overview of Carleton physics grad studies ingeneral including courses and funding, and some details about exciting Master's thesis work in particle physics and medical physics (Profs. Johns, Gregoire, Rogers)
- mix with the professors and ask questions over snacks
This session is intended for undergraduate students in year 3 or year 4 of a BSc program in Physics orBEng in Engineering Physics, or a BSc in physics combined with another discipline (Math & Physics,Biol & Phys, Chem & Phys). Students from programs at Carleton, the University of Ottawa, and elsewhere are welcome!
